Explain the exchange

The app states what is shared, why it creates value, and what the user receives.

Ask, never assume

Declining keeps the app usable. Silence, navigation or pre-ticked controls never count as consent.

The user can review status, resource limits and opt out from app settings.

No activation before a clear, affirmative user choice.

A user control must remain easy to find and take effect promptly.

The module must not access app content, accounts, cookies or browsing history.

Resource-aware operation

Activity should pause when battery, memory, CPU or network conditions are unsuitable.

Remote kill switch

Publishers need the ability to disable the module without shipping an app update.

Data flows, subprocessors and technical boundaries should be documented for review.
